2 Black Soap Bars

• Also Known as African Black Soap, Black soap is made using plant ash (cocoa pods and plantains) and plant oil (shea butter and palm oil). Black soap is known for its dark color, which results from the mixture being cooked and fermented for several days. This soap is not just for the body, but for the floors, dishes, clothes, etc. 

• While Black Soap appears to be black when it's wet, it rinses clear as it effectively washes away impurities. Black Soap lathers beautifully and leaves you squeaky clean.

• Acne fighting and skin tightening are properties Black Soap is known for. Its ability to cleanse the skin, unclog pores, reduce the appearance of acne, hyper-pigmentation and skin imperfections is renowned.

• Black Soap can be intense. We advise new users to try it on a day when you don't have to see anyone the next. It can be harsh, but is deeply cleansing like no soap you've ever used.

• While some tout Black Soap for people with sensitive skin, we caution anyone using it to give it a patch test. If Irritation occurs, discontinue use. Black Soap may not be for you.
